Overweight Children Statistics

January 25th, 2010

Now According to the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, nearly half of American adults report that they do not exercise at all, and seven out of  ten do so infrequently. Too many of America’s youth do not exercise at all, are overweight, and have poor dietary habits. “In 1999, 61 percent of the adult population were either overweight or obese and 15% of American children are overweight.” Obesity and being overweight have reached epidemic proportions in the United States. These weight conditions have been linked to increases in serious diseases such as heart disease, cancer, stroke, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (bronchitis, emphysema, asthma), and diabetes. The good news is that the council states that, “the health of Americans would improve with modest but regular physical activity and better eating habits.” For this reason, the first and second priorities of President Bush’s Healthier US Initiative are:  1. Be Physically Active Each Day and; 2. Eat a Nutritious Diet.

There is probably no better time to start a martial arts program than right now. Every year, when the weather changes, it marks a point of decreased exercise for many Americans as outdoor activities diminish. Combine this with poor eating habits during holidays, it’s no wonder so many people make weight reduction their New Year’s Resolution. Martial arts provides necessary exercise as well as the discipline to make better eating choices.

President Bush’s initiative has a very simple formula: every little bit of e ort counts. The key to becoming ? t and healthy re- lies on the consistency of your fitness plan. “You don’t have to become a marathon runner,” the council states. Martial arts provides year round physical activity to provide your body with routine exercise that can help you reach and maintain appropriate body weight. Reaching this objective statistically improves your chances of avoiding certain diseases, and also positions you as a role model for other adults and children. Not to mention how great you will feel being physically fit.

Type and Genes In some animal species, the shape and size of the individual’s body is largely determined by the shape and size of its parents’ bodies. Many scientists have explored the role of heredity in determining human body shapes. Some researchers argue that obesity has a strong genetic determinant (it tends to run in families). They cite statistics showing that 80 percent of children having two obese parents are also obese. But why is this the case? Can you really blame your parents for your problems with weight?• Twin Studies Studies of identical twins who were separated at birth and raised in different environments have provided us with some of the most conclusive evidence to date that obesity may be an inherited trait. Whether raised in family environments with fat or thin family members, twins with obese natural parents tend to be obese in later life. According to another study, sets of identical twins who were separated and raised in different families and who ate widely different diets still grew up to weigh about the same. So, if you are overweight, you cannot blame it all on your parents for overfeeding you as a child. These studies contain the strongest evidence yet that the genes a person inherits are the major factor determining overweight, leanness, or average weight. Although the exact mechanics remain unknown, it is believed that genes set metabolic rates, influencing how the body handles calories. Some experts believe that this genetic tendency may contribute as much as 25 to 40 percent of the reason for being overweight.• Specific Obesity Genes? In the past decade, more and more research has pointed to the existence of a special “fat gene.” The most promising candidate is the Db gene (for obesity), which is believed to disrupt the body’s “I’ve had enough to eat” signaling system and may prompt individuals to keep eating past the point of being comfortably full. Research on Pima Indians, who have an estimated 75 percent obesity rate and nine in ten who are overweight, seems to point to an Ob gene that is a “thrifty gene.” It is theorized that because their ancestors had to struggle through centuries of famine, their ancestor’s basal metabolic rates slowed, allowing them to store precious fat for survival. They may have passed these genes on to their children, explaining the lower metabolic rates found in Pimas today and their greater propensity for obesity. Scientists have found that they can manipulate mice genes and construct an Ob gene that will invariably lead to fatness in mice and to the development of diabetes II. Many suspect a human counterpart to this gene, but an actual gene formation has yet to be found. In addition, the (Beta)-3 adrenergic-receptor gene has been identified and found in human beings and mice. When mutated, it is thought to impede the body’s ability to bum fat.Although the 1994 discovery of the Ob gene has provided fertile ground for speculation, researchers have since further refined their theories to focus on a protein that the Ob gene may produce, known as Leptin, and a new leptin receptor in the brain. According to these studies, leptin is the chemical that signals the brain when you are full and need to stop eating. Although obese people have adequate amounts of leptin and working leptin receptors, they do not seem to work properly, much like with the diabetic who has adequate insulin but is not able to utilize it properly.Another group of scientists appear to have isolated a more direct route to appetite suppression, a protein called GLP-l, which is known to slow down the passage of food through the intestines to allow the absorption of nutrients. When scientists injected GLP-l into the brains of hungry rats, the rats stopped eating immediately. Are leptin and GLP-l key factors in appetite suppression? It is speculated that leptin and GLP-l might play complementary roles in weight control.

For many people around the world, the struggle with being overweight is more than just an issue of aesthetics or physical appearance.  It is a very real health concern for almost 300 million people around the world.  What is even more alarming is that 22 million of the world’s children below five years old are classified as obese or overweight.  Based on a 2000 study released by Media Awareness Network, eight out of 10 Americans above 25 years of age are overweight.  The actual figures show that 58 million Americans are overweight and 40 million are obese.   To the average person, being overweight is visually judged and not measured accurately based on medical or scientific parameters.  Having the so-called love handles, beer belly, and other bulges around the body are often the obvious signs of being overweight.  Being overweight generally indicates that a person has more body fat than what is considered useful for the body’s functions. Obesity, on the other hand, is defined as a condition in which the stored fatty tissues in a person’s body are increased to a point where it is already a health risk. There are actual standards set by nutritionist-dietitians using the Body Mass Index (BMI), which is a statistical measure of the weight and body fat of a person scaled according to height.  BMI is used by health professionals to discuss a patient’s “thinness” or “fatness.” However, there are limits to the use of BMI as a health assessment tool since it may overestimate body fat in athletes and other individuals who are well-built; and it may underestimate body fat in the elderly or those who have lost muscle mass. Another method used to as a health assessment tool is called Waist Circumference Factor, which is simply the measurement of the distance around a person’s abdomen.  Based on an advisory released by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, those who are at risk of developing heart problems and other chronic diseases are women with a waist circumference of over 35 inches; and men with a waist circumference of more than 40 inches.  For Asian populations, the World Health Organization has recommended that women maintain a waist circumference of not over 31 inches; and not more that 35 inches for men. But what does waist line circumference or body mass index all add up to?  Why do we need to know our weight or the measurement of our waistline?  Researches and studies all point out that overweight or obese individuals are more prone to heart disease, diabetes, kidney problems, and a host of other serious illnesses. The good news is that many people are now more conscious about their weight and health in general.  The remarkable growth of the sports and fitness industries point out that more and more people are taking their physical health more seriously.  Enrollment in gyms and other health clubs have risen over the years.  The popularity of the fitness franchises like Gold’s Gym and Fitness First  not only in America but in other parts of the world have made weight lifting and aerobics household words.  Even in places where gym memberships are considered as luxuries, minds are being changed as awareness about the need for regular physical exercise is made more widespread and in-depth.  In fact, a number of fitness programs have sprung up and have become the latest fads followed by fitness buffs and regular people alike.  Pilates, boxing, tae-bo, yoga, and even belly dancing are among the most popular routines utilized by professional fitness experts to teach people who want to lose weight or those who want to improve their physical appearance.   Still, doing physical exercise may no longer be an option for certain people.  Those who are extremely overweight or obese need more help in losing unwanted pounds.  The use of a  weight loss pill is one of the options that can be taken to shed the extra weight.   If properly used under the supervision of a health care professional, a weight loss pill can work like a miracle drug.   It is important to know that not every weight loss pill works the same.  There are as much number of unfounded claims as there are brands of herbal or dietary pills in the market.   These claims can range from the decreasing a person’s appetite to ensuring the increase of calorie and fat metabolism.  Quite curiously, almost all of these products claim to be the “best weight loss pill.”  Some of these products contain herbs, botanicals, laxatives and even caffeine.   The safety or efficacy of these ingredients when taken together has not yet been properly established.  Therefore, it is important to be fully informed about the weight loss products they purchase.    The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved a weight loss diet pill called Orlistat (commonly marketed under the brand name Xenical) that is used in conjunction with a reduced-calorie or low-fat diet and regular exercise.  This product works by blocking fat absorption in the intestine.  In capsule form, this rapid weight loss pill is taken three times a day with meals.   Indeed, one need not become part of the statistics.  Weight loss is not an impossible goal especially if one gets adequate advice from a health professional.  The combination of regular exercise, low-fat diet and, if necessary, the use of weight reduction medications can put an overweight or obese individual on the road back to health.

The past an any one with a meticulous kind of drinking disorder is diagnosed and cure is begun, the closer their heaviness can be restored to a customary amount for their age and height. What causes a particular typeface of ingestion disorder to obvious itself from the occasional agony realized by a good number of the populations into a momentous illness is a question still unlock to argue among professionals. One factual statement that is granted on, however, is that regardless of what typeface of drinking disorder is being suffered, they are all perilous. Two of the frequent disorders, anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa have been classified as illnesses, while the third manner of drinking disorder, gorge ingestion, falls into the group of risky and probably uncontrollable, but has not been classified as an illness. The singular clothes of anorexia nervosa are obvious as the self loses so much emphasis they may perhaps exist to have paper-narrow skin stretched over their bones. People suffering this print of drinking disorder stanchly believe that they are still overweight no topic how little they weigh and strive only to waste more mass. Some ponder splurge intake may be a predecessor to bulimia nervosa and should also be classified as a nature of ingestion disorder illness, as people will cultivate to eat even when they don’t feel hungry. They feel the necessary to drink food to the instant that no more could possibly fit. They may then feel sickened with themselves and eat more to comfort themselves. Bulimia nervosa sufferers will as well eat large portions of food, but with this nature of ingestion disorder they will eliminate themselves following gorge ingestion episodes. By using diuretic or abusing laxatives helps them get relieve of the food they just ate, as does intentional vomiting, making the things of this lettering of intake disorder fewer noticeable. Since they get rid of the overindulgence food, their burden typically does not regularly show as with a part who does not purge, their debit of indispensable vitamins and minerals that can make this a perilous brand of ingestion disorder just the same as anorexia nervosa. Any form of intake disorder is treatable and the earlier the better. There are plentiful different types of ingestion disorders, and one of these especially is that of the night intake disorder. The night ingestion disordered is a term which is characterized by a require of desire in the morning and then a crisis of overeating at night. The nighttime drinking disordered is dissimilar from other drinking disorders such as overdo-drinking and bulimia; individuals with the nighttime ingestion disorder demolish relatively small drinks at night but far more regularly while individuals who bear from bender-ingestion or bulimia have very large and infrequent binges. There are actions methods that can be worn in regards to this ingestion disorder, and this remedy would implicate such things as counseling and making reliable to pay awareness to your own thorough checkup and nutritional wants. As well, ponder that the action should be tailored to the individual and will be different according to both the severity of the disorder and in regards to the tolerant’s particular problems, requests, and strengths. A pica drinking disorder is an intake disorder which is characteristically definite as the recurrent drinking of nonnutritive substances for an interval of at least one month at an age in which this type of behavior is developmentally irregular, for occasion a toddler. Fundamentally the pica drinking disorder definition is sporadically broadened to contain the mouthing of nonnutritive substances as well. Besides, a pica ingestion disorder can embrace the ingesting of many abnormal substances, such as: clay, dirt, smooth, sand, pebbles, curls, feces, pilot, laundry starch, pencil erasers, ice, fingernails, paper, paint chips, coal, forest, plaster, light bulbs, needles, and line for example. This disordered is considered as being a terrible behavioral problem, in that it can product in significant medical screech. It has also naked to be a really predisposing aspect in regards to accidental ingestion of equipment such as poisons, for the most part in allusion to clue poisoning, for order. This ingestion disordered is very anonymous, in particular when compared to the other eating disorders; in the United States, for example, prevalence of this eating disorder is anonymous because the disorder regularly is unrecognized and underreported; also, studies have exposed the children with mental retardation and autism are unnatural more normally than children without these conditions, and among those individuals with mental retardation, this eating disorder is actually the most universal. This is an eating disorder which submit all through the world, and escort toxicity is the most generally reported type of poisoning in regards to this disorder. Ingestion of high doses of direct can influence that of significant intellectual impairment as well as behavioral And knowledge problems and studies have also exposed that neuropsychological dysfunction and deficits in neurologic development can in reality consequence from very low escort levels, even levels that were once believed to be careful.

Video games, television and computers have become an American pastime for our children. It’s no wonder so many young kids are struggling with their weight, but the actual statistics might shock you. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 16 percent of children between the ages of 6 and 19 are overweight or obese and the number continues to rise. It’s truly an epidemic in America, and you’ve got to take action if you want to improve the state of your child’s health. It can be truly difficult to get your child off the couch with all of the technological distractions, but if you’re creative, you should be able effectively persuade your kid to get up and out of the house.

1. Set a good example. Yes of course you should be worried about the health of you children, but you should also be concerned about your own. If you don’t have a regular exercise plan, then can’t expect your children to have one. Don’t be hypocritical and start working out if you haven’t already. Kids often learn by example, so show the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the amazing results that can occur through dedication and hard work.

2. Change the way they think about exercise. Rather than telling your child that they need to exercise, you should be trying to promote fun through physical activity. There are simple ways to do this. You can make it into a game by getting whole family involved in tag or a jump-rope contest. You can also plan an activity party. Rather than loading up on cake and junk food for your child’s next birthday party, plan a bowling outing or take the kids rock climbing.

3. Let them try out some extreme sports. This is the perfect alternative for kids that aren’t necessarily great at traditional sports. Ask them which sport they want to try, whether it is snowboarding or paintball, then load up on all the supplies they might need. You can also easily rent a snowboard or paintball gun, if you aren’t ready to invest a lot of money before your son or daughter gives the sport a try.

4. Establish a routine. There should be some form of physical activity everyday. Whether it be taking the dog for a walk or going for a bike ride after dinner. If they only exercise sporadically, it’s unlikely that they will be able to keep their weight down. It will also be harder for them to maintain an exercise routine later in life.

Keeping your kids active can be a challenge, but the hard work is necessary for your child’s physical and mental health. By altering the way they think about exercise and physical fitness, you will be able to keep them active for the rest of their lives.

Was parenting simpler forty years ago?  As a mom in the new millennium, I dream about the idea of parenting in a world where streets are safe and elders can let their children run freely thru the neighborhood, their bodies naturally challenged with the exercise of play.  Instead today, before the slam of the vehicle door fades and the backpack drops on the floor, the television is switched on and the last few hours of light vanish in a haze of video games and over processed break foods.  Even the concerned well-meaning parent can often stand defenseless, thinking how to challenge against marketing genius and instant gratification.  Exercise and carrot sticks have a tough time contesting with Xboxes, SpongeBob and potato chips.  The explanation is all around us.  According to the Centers for disease Control and Prevention, the health of too many northern Americans is at risk due to unhealthy lifestyles.  ( www.cdc.gov / nccdphp / dnpa / obesity ) The newest data from the national Center for Health statistics prove that 30 percent of U.S.  Adults 20 years of age and older – over sixty million people – are obese.  The CDC reports the proportion of young people who are fat has more than tripled since 1980.  My kids are not overweight – why should I be concerned?  Your youngsters are standard, right?  You are parenting absolutely fine.  But in a world where walking is limited, school P.E.  Programs are being cut, and automobiles, elevators and buses eliminate our opportunity to exercise naturally, we want to make a strong effort to make exercise part of our day and our children’s days.  Despite all the advantages of being physically active, most USA citizens are inactive.  ( www.cdc.gov / nccdphp / dnpa / obesity / contributing_factors.htm ).  Inactive youngsters are probably going to become inactive adults.  ( www.americanheart.org / presenter.jhtml?identifier=4596 ) So as elders how do we get our kids moving?  ”The Yank Heart organisation recommends that youngsters and teens participate in at least sixty mins of moderate to powerful exercise every day.” The excellent news is exercise comes in many forms and can be a lot of fun!  With a little creativeness you can easily add some fun exercise into your parenting style.  !.  Lead the way You want to set an excellent good example.  Kids, particularly younger kids, naturally follow their mum and dad.  So make sure you are looking after your own health and making exercise a concern in your life.  2.  Do it together In today’s overscheduled world, we want to confirm we are spending time with our kids.  What smarter way than to be active together.  Since children can not be alone rambling the area , parents need to play with them.  3.  Make it a laugh Put on some music and dance.  Play tag.  Roller blade.  Fundamentally just play.  Provide them with toys and equipment that give them encouragement to be active while having a good time.  Bikes, scooters, hockey sticks and baseball bats will get your children moving and active.  For preschool kids, ride on toys that get them exercising like pedal automobiles, big wheels and tricycles are always a great parenting call.  4.  Cheer them on Create positive reinforcements with support and support.  Help them find sports and activities that build their self confidence.  Attend their sporting events and tell them you are their biggest fan whether or not they win or lose.  5..  Switch it off Of course, we want to limit the time our youngsters watch television and play Playstation games.  But make sure you do it in a positive fashion.  If they’re irritated that you just turned off their favorite show, they won’t be too fired up about going out rollerblading with you.  Allow screen time during elected hours, ideally after homework is done and when activity is finished, like in the evening or on Sat. morning when beat parents might need to catch a few extra minutes of sleep.  Adding more physical activity into your family’s routine will help you all feel better and get you having more fun together.  Most significantly, as you model a healthful way of life you’ll help instill in your youngsters lifelong habits and healthy angles toward exercise and physical activity.  .

Binge ingestion also occurs in another ingestion disorder called bulimia nervosa. Persons with bulimia nervosa, however, evenly purge, momentary, or do energetic training after the spree eat. Purging means nausea or using a lot of diuretics (water pills) or laxatives to keep from ahead mass. Fasting is not drinking for at slightest 24 hours. Strenuous provoke, in this lawsuit, means exercising for more than an hour just to keep from gaining stress after indulge intake. Purging, fasting, and overexercising are unsafe habits to try to run your emphasis. Binge intake disordered is a newly recognized form that perhaps affects millions of Americans. People with indulge ingestion disorder frequently eat large amounts of food while reaction a loss of rule over their ingestion. This disordered is different from spree-purge syndrome (bulimia nervosa) because people with overdo intake disorder usually do not purge next by vomiting or using laxatives. When you have indulged-intake disorder, sometimes called compulsive overeating, you regularly eat extreme amounts of food (bender). A gorge is considered ingestion a bigger quantity of food than most people would eat under related situations. For request, you may eat 10,000 to 20,000 calories appeal of food during a splurge, while somebody next a standard diet may eat 1,500 to 3,000 calories in a day. Children and teens who sometimes eat a lot don’t necessarily have indulged ingestion disorder. Kids can have enormous appetites, especially during expansion spurts, when they should more nutrients to fuel their upward bodies. So it can be complex to verify whether a baby has overdone ingestion disorder. Nevertheless some symbols distinguish superstar who overdo eats from someone with a “healthy taste.” Binge intake symptoms also bestow in bulimia nervosa. The official diagnosis criteria are parallels in that subjects must overdo at least twice per week for a lowest epoch of three months. Unlike in bulimia, those with BED do not purge, tightly or engage in tireless task after bender intake. Additionally, bulimics are typically of ordinary emphasis, are underweight but have been overweight before, or somewhat overweight, where those with bender ingestion disorder are typically overweight or obese. Causes of Binge Eating Disorder There is no distinct instigate for drinking disorders. Although concerns about weight and body profile play a part in all ingestion disorders, the actual grounds of these disorders seem to effect from many factors, counting cultural and family pressures and emotional and personality disorders. Genetics and biologic factors may also play a position. The causes of gorge ingestion disorder are still nameless. Up to half of all people with overdo intake disorder have a chronicle of depression. Whether depression is an origin or effect of overdo eating disorder is undecided. It may be unrelated. Many people shot that anger, sorrow, boredom, concern or other downbeat emotions can trigger a spree episode. Impulsive conduct and certain other psychological evils may be more normal in people with bender eating disorder. Biological vulnerability may play a position in developing overdo-eating disorder. Both genes and head chemicals may be complex. In addition, researchers are studying craving regulation of the pivotal edgy organism for clues, along with gastrointestinal changes that might shed light on causes. Certain behaviors and emotional harms are more communal in people with binge eating disorder. These contain abusing alcohol, acting hastily without belief (impulsive manners), not regard in payment of themselves, not feeling a part of their communities, and not noticing and chatting about their feelings.

December 10th, 2009

This article looks at the problem of childhood obesity and what we can all do to help improve the diet of our young.

A comment a mother made to her two young sons whilst on the train this morning got me thinking. The mother was talking about how they were looking forward to a day out in London, and what they would do later. The mother said “when we are on the way home we can grab some doughnuts!” Now, it is true I don’t know whether or not the doughnuts were a one off treat after a special day out or a regular occurrence. What spoke to me most powerfully was the woman’s choice of words. “We can grab some doughnuts!” Now maybe her children did not want any doughnuts, she let her decision influence the dietary intake of her children. I think there is a lesson to be learnt here.

You see all of us would agree we want the best for our children. We all want them to succeed and prosper in life. However, how many of our decisions are sabotaging these worthy ideals.

I thought to myself the mother could quite easily have said “let’s pick up some fresh fruit or smoothies later!” but she didn’t.

You see it’s not as if there is not a problem here. The proportion of overweight children has increased. It is a fact that obesity levels in children have been stedily rising over the years according to the online national statistics office.

This is not good news. Our children are literally dying early because of a poor diet and inadequate exercise. This has got to stop. Not next month, not next year, but now.

The good news is that there is so much we can do. Remember, little changes done often will create a big change, long term. I am not saying that you cannot indulge your sweet tooth once and a while, but it is important that it is now and then, not a habit that is done often. Like everything in life, balance is key.

The Government currently recommend an intake of at least five portions of fruit or vegetables per person, per day. It’s so easy to ensure you get the reccommended five a day intake so that’s good news for all us busy people. For one thing it does not have to be all fresh fruit and vegetables. Fresh, frozen, chilled, 100% juice, canned and dried fruit and vegetables all counts. You can also count the fruit and vegetables in takeaways but some of these will be high in added fats, sugar or salt so eat in moderation!

So as you are all clear as to what makes up one portion of fruit or vegetables I will tell you here. One portion of fruit is one medium apple, one medium banana or two small satsumas or three dried apricots. one hundred percent juice contributes to your 5 a day as well. One portion of vegetables is three heaped tablespoonfuls of cooked carrots, peas, or sweetcorn or one cereal bowl of mixed salad.

What I have found in my experience is that whilst your nutrition is extremely important, in and of itself it is not enough. To reach and stay in peak, optimum health you need to participate in regular exercise. I believe it of crucial importance to choose an activity that you enjoy if you are to make keeping fit a routine in your life and something you stick to. Exercise should be fun.

You may have heard different guidelines on how often you should work out I truly believe the human body is made for regular movement. Really we could all be doing much more than we are currently, daily I advise, unless you have a medical condition that would prevent this. You can choose from a wide range of activities, from badminton and squash, to walking, cycling and gardening. Anything that gets you a little out of breath is good and will help keep you supple and active.

I have found a particular group of exercises called Integrated Movement training to have been particularly useful and beneficial. It is great fun and can be completed in as little as 10 minutes! Done twice daily this can get you in great shape, combined with the dietary advice I have given you, you are well on your way to a new, fitter you, one full of energy and feeling younger.

I touched on it briefly earlier but I do want to stress the importance of balance. I know from firsthand experience that if you try to change everything over night you are setting yourself up to fail. I remember being obsessive over what I ate and was it good for me or not and I began to lose my enjoyment of food, and have food cravings, which are not healthy.

The key to sensible eating is moderation and balance. By all means eat healthy, nutritious foods, eat widely from all food groups, but when you feel like eating your favourite chocolate bar, cake, or takeaway curry don’t beat yourself up over it. Life is too short.

As long as you are eating the right things more often than not, combined with an effective exercise regime, you can afford a treat now and then and still live a healthy lifestyle.

I hope this article has been helpful for you. What I really want you to come away with is the realisation that a healthy lifestyle is co-existent with normal’ life. You don’t have to exist on the rabbit food’, and you can fit a healthy diet into a busy lifestyle.

Little changes like swapping your usual snack choice of chocolate or biscuits for fruit, nuts or an organic yoghurt really are so simple but highly effective. Introducing a smoothie for breakfast or some porridge helps your body stay healthy and tastes great.

With the exercise it is important to choose something fun that you enjoy and that you will stick with. Remember, if you really want to see a change in yourself and your children’s physique and health you need to exercise regularly, ideally every other day at least.

The system I find particulary effective and usefull is the Integrated Movement Training system. The Integrated Movement Training system utilizes all of the body’s 600 + muscles making it a highly effective, workout which burns many hundreds of calories and can be fitted into two 10 minute sessions daily.

Start slowly, become confident with the exercises and you will progress nicely.

Above all enjoy your life. Exercise and healthy eating are about getting you to enjoy a higher quality of life. This is great. Whether you want to play longer with your children or grandchildren, perform better in your chosen sport or just live day to day with more energy and less pain, eating healthily and exercising will help you achieve this.

Take great care of yourself and our future. I wish you all the success in the world. To your health and happiness.
